Do you know all this GREEN crap for Autos will just cause them to go deeper in the red?

It already has. Ford's idea was to make cars that most Americans could afford and in doing so, be able to pay wages high enough that cars could be afforded. All the green (and safety) mandates have made them so expensive that too many people are buying used cars for the industry to be healthy. I had a 65 Mustang that got 38 mpg with a 200ci/3.12L 6cyl and later a 71 Mustang 302ci/5L 8 cyl that got 28 mpg. Won't happen now. cars are much heavier and pollution control devises require energy so lessen gas mileage.
