Is there such thing as a surgery or treatment to remove double jointed fingers?

It's just possible that you could become a better player if you try to overcome your difficulties. Double joints give you more flexibility. Your teacher should be the one to discuss this with and give his recommendation. If this is a hindrance any surgeon would probably operate on you but if it could be overcome by practice and the wisdom of your teacher than you will truly be a better cello player. I wouldn't think about unnecessary surgery if it wasn't needed. You may have a God given talent that the Lord will help you master to perfection with your double joints. So, hang in there and practice and develop your own style to accommodate your obstacles and I'll pray the Lord will have you in Carnegie Hall one day. Good Luck.
