I am scared....please only serious answers. 10 pts to best!!?

I am scared. I have been taking a lot of prescription narcotics(prescribed to me) and I can't seem to stop. My doctor had the you need a better way to deal with your pain talk, but why does he keep giving them to me then? When I don't take them the pain physical and emotional just overwhelms me and I can't deal. I am also on xanax, tramadol, ibprofen, cymbalta, and other over the counter meds. I am under LOADS of stress. Final exams, lump on my daughters kidney, sick grandfather, financial worries, new relationship and commitment issues, weight problem, and many more. Any advice?
