My space blog read only?

I am writing up a myspace for a charity I volunteer for. We want to post blogs like newsletters but would quite like that part of the myspace to be read only....is there anyway of doing this, I can find a way to allow only friends to comment but not to disable comments compleatly. Any help will be brilliant! Thanks
