Tadpole/frog help please!?

i have been raising tadpoles in a tank for a wile and they are starting to turn into frogs. there is a rock in the tank half submerged in water for the frogs to climb up onto when they need to but im scared they don't know how because the frog in there never seems to get out of the water by itself so i put it on the rock by hand and it'll sit there for a bit then hop around then get back in the water. i dont want it to drown but i dont want to keep handling it coz i think it needs to find its own way on to the rock. please help.
